Govt. initiates work on project of conversion of “B” areas in “A” areas in Balochistan

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has started work on the project of conversion of “B” areas in “A” areas in all districts of the province.
According to the sources, the Provincial Home Department sought detailed report of the expenditures as well as the required arms and other resources.
In a letter written written to the Inspector General of Police from the Home Department, the details have been sought for bringing the “B” (Levies) areas under arrangements of “A” (Police) areas in all districts, on directives of the Chief Minister Balochistan.
It was asked to the Inspector General of Police to provide detailed plan and the time required for conversion.
Besides, the financial impacts and expenditures as well as the required weapons, technology and other necessary details have also been sought for conversion of the “B” areas in “A” areas.
The Inspector General of Police has been directed to submit report in this regard.
