Haleem Adil Sheikh Condemns Israeli Aggression in Gaza, Urges Unity Among Muslim Nations
KARACHI (April 14): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh strongly condemned Israel’s continued bombardment and violence against unarmed Palestinians in Gaza, calling it a blatant act of aggression against humanity. In a press statement, Sheikh urged the Muslim Ummah to unite and take a firm stand against the atrocities being committed in the besieged enclave.
He stated that Israel has consistently ignored United Nations resolutions and, for decades, has targeted innocent civilians, their homes, and mosques in Palestine, actions he termed a grave violation of international human rights law.
“What is happening in Gaza is an appalling example of oppression and brutality,” said Sheikh. “The United Nations must fulfill its responsibilities as a genocide is taking place openly. Despite calls for a ceasefire, the massacre of Palestinian Muslims continues, reflecting the unchecked aggression of Israel.”
The PTI leader criticized global powers and human rights organizations for remaining silent in the face of these crimes. “The people across the world are raising their voices in support of Gaza, yet the so-called champions of human rights remain mere spectators,” he remarked, urging humanitarian organizations to play a more active role.
Haleem Adil Sheikh also stressed that the situation threatens not only Middle East stability but global peace. He called for the Muslim world to come together on a single platform to confront Israeli aggression. “If Islamic countries continue their silence, history will never forgive them,” he warned.
“The Pakistani nation stands in solidarity with the people of Palestine and is protesting in full force. We will never accept Israeli aggression under any circumstances,” he asserted. “The Government of Pakistan must take concrete and practical steps against this brutality.”
Praising PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Sheikh said, “Imran Khan is the true ambassador of Palestine and Kashmir. He has always raised his voice for the oppressed, yet he is behind bars today. His immediate release is essential so he can continue to represent the voiceless.”
Haleem Adil Sheikh emphasized that the time has come for the Muslim Ummah to awaken and take decisive action. “We stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Palestine at every level. Further Israeli aggression cannot be tolerated,” he added.
