Sara Javed Makes History as First Christian Woman Deputy Commissioner of Sanghar
In a landmark appointment, Sara Javed has taken charge as the first-ever Christian woman Sanghar.April 14 (Hassnian Ashiq Saand.) Deputy Commissioner of Sanghar district. She chaired an introductory meeting with revenue officers, emphasizing efficient public service and prompt grievance resolution. “Our collective duty is to create ease for the people and address their grievances promptly,” she stated.
Sara Javed’s appointment underscores the Sindh government’s commitment to inclusivity and diverse representation in public service.: A seasoned officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Sara Javed has accumulated field experience in high-pressure roles, including Assistant Commissioner in Karachi’s Saddar and SITE areas, and Additional Deputy Commissioner-I in Tharparkar.
She stressed the need for round-the-clock efforts in monitoring the polio campaign and resolving public issues, highlighting her dedication to effective governance.
