Process of recruitment in Levies force suspended in all districts of Balochistan

QUETTA: The process of recruitment in Levies force has been suspended in all districts of Balochistan with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued here by the Home Department, Government of Balochistan addressed to the Director General Levies, it was directed to convey for suspending the recruitment process of Levies force in all districts of Balochistan with immediate effect and until further orders.
Needless to mention here is that Government of Balochistan has already started work on the project of conversion of “B” areas in “A” areas in all districts of the province.
According to the sources, the Provincial Home Department sought detailed report of the expenditures as well as the required arms and other resources.
In a letter written to the Inspector General of Police from the Home Department, the details have been sought for bringing the “B” (Levies) areas under arrangements of “A” (Police) areas in all districts, on directives of the Chief Minister Balochistan.
It was asked to the Inspector General of Police to provide detailed plan and the time required for conversion.
