Islamabad. Apr. 16. A prestigious Pakistan-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Counter-Narcotics Conference was held in Islamabad, bringing together high-level officials from GCC nations to combat the growing threat of illicit drug trafficking. The conference emphasized the need for regional unity and cooperation in tackling this menace.

The conference focused on strengthening regional cooperation to eliminate drug trafficking, with presentations highlighting shared challenges and successes. Discussions centered around enhancing intelligence sharing and border coordination to curb narcotics smuggling.: Proposals were made for collaborative research and public awareness campaigns to prevent drug abuse.

The Pak-GCC forum reiterated the importance of practical planning to curb narcotics smuggling.
