Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Visits Safe House and Women Development Office
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Deputy Commissioner Sanghar, Ms. Sarah Javed, paid an official visit to the Safe House and Women Development Office in Sanghar to assess the available facilities and ongoing initiatives for women’s welfare.
During the visit, DC Sarah Javed reviewed various sections of the Safe House including the library, storeroom, and other departments. She inspected the security measures and evaluated the support services being provided to women seeking shelter and assistance.
The Deputy Commissioner interacted with women residing at the Safe House and listened to their concerns and needs. She directed the Assistant Director Women Development, Ms. Hina Khan, to ensure the provision of all necessary legal, medical, and psychological support to the women.
While visiting the Women Development Office, Ms. Javed emphasized the importance of empowering women through education and awareness. She instructed the concerned officers to take further steps to promote women’s rights and ensure they are well-informed about the laws that protect them.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited the Children’s Park and instructed the District Council staff to pay special attention to cleanliness and the maintenance of plants, particularly in areas frequented by women and children.
Assistant Commissioner Sanghar, Mr. Shafiq Ahmed Arisar, also accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.
