Mustehkam Parliament Pakistan team calls on acting Governor
QUETTA: The team of “Mustehkam Parliament Pakistan” project called on the acting Governor Balochistan, Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai here on Friday.
The team was comprised the representatives of the project including Maryam Cummins (Team Lead), Aizaz Asif (Technical Lead) and Ali Imran (senior Advisor).
During the course of meeting, different matters about making performance of the Balochistan Assembly effective, enhancing working parliamentary capacity and promotion of democratic values were discussed.
While appreciating the endeavours of Mustehkam Parliament Project continued with cooperation of the European Union, the acting Governor assured full cooperation for the institutional improvement at the provincial level.
Also present on the occasion were the Secretary Balochistan Assembly, Tahir Shah Kakar, Special Secretary, Abdul Rehman, Secretary to Speaker, Muhammad Hayat Bizenjo and Staff Officer to Speaker, Jangi Khan Lasi.
