Ongoing projects right stride towards public welfare: CM vows to ensure development of Balochistan with federal & provincial compatibility
Ahsan Iqbal says federal Govt. extending wholehearted cooperation to Balochistan Govt for development of province
QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has vowed to ensure development of Balochistan with federal and provincial governments’ compatibility.
He said that the ongoing development projects are the right stride towards public welfare in the province.
The Chief Minister was speaking to the Federal Minister Planning, Ahsan Iqbal during a meeting held at the CM’s secretariat on Friday morning.
Also present in the meeting were the Provincial Ministers Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Asim Kurd Gailo and Parliamentary secretary, Zarin Khan Magsi.
During the course of meeting between the Federal Minister for Planning, Ahsan Iqbal and Chief Minister, there was detailed discussion on the ongoing development projects including Kachhi canal project.
There was also consultation on the development of Balochistan, distribution of resources and planning for the province.
The participants were agreed on making the development process transparent, besides expediting it.
Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that the federal government attaches priority to development of Balochistan, and as such it is extending wholehearted cooperation to the Balochistan government for development of the province.
He also said that all possible resources are being mobilized so as to complete the projects in an effective manner.
He said that the very cooperation of federal government would remain continued in future as well.
The Chief Minister Balochistan on the occasion appreciated the cooperation of federal government in development process in the province. He said that federation’s partnership is commendable in development process.
He insisted that Balochistan can be brought ahead in the race of national progress through effective planning, judicious distribution of resources and good governance.
He also said that the sustainable solution to the issues of province is possible through joint efforts of federal and provincial governments.
