Chairman DDAC Kohat Shafi Jan Inaugurates School Enrollment Campaign
Chairman of the District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Kohat and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Shafi Jan formally inaugurated the school enrollment campaign at a ceremony held at Government High School No. 2 Kohat.
The event was attended by District Monitoring Officer Tahir Ali, the District Education Officer (DEO), school staff, and members of the community from various walks of life. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of education and encourage maximum enrollment of children in schools across the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman DDAC Shafi Jan emphasized that education is the cornerstone of national development adding that the secret to a nation’s progress and prosperity lies in education.
Addressing the youth, he urged them to treat education as a mission, noting that it is the tool that empowers individuals with dignity, skills, and independence.
Shafi Jan also appealed to parents to remain actively involved in their children’s education, monitor their academic progress, and guide them towards awareness and enlightenment.
Highlighting the importance of such initiatives, he said that organizing enrollment campaigns plays a crucial role in promoting education and enhancing its quality. He stressed the need for continuity in these efforts.
“Let us work together to bring about an educational revolution for a better future. Education is not only the fundamental right of every child but also a shared responsibility,” he concluded.
