Governor Balochistan meets counterparts of St. Petersburg & Kalinin Grad Oblast in Russia; discusses bilateral relations

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail met his counterparts of Saint Petersburg and Kalinin Grad Oblast in Russia on Saturday.
During the course of separate meetings with Governor Saint Petersburg, Alexander Beglov and Governor Kalinin Grad Oblast, Aleksander Drozdenko, Mandokhail discussed different matters including bilateral relations between Pakistan and Russia and regional issues.
They emphasized on enhancing cooperation in the sectors of higher education, infrastructure and science & technology.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Mandokhail highlighted the potential of Gwadar deep seaport in accelerating the process of economic development and building basic infrastructure in the whole region.
He also termed the academic exchange programme of the Professors and students for promoting the partnership in education sector.
The Governor also proposed to establish a center of Balochi language in Saint Petersburg and a center of Russian language in Balochistan.
The leaders from both sides expressed interest in continuing the process of mutual cooperation and development in the future.
