Jamaat-e-Islami Tando Adam Women’s Wing Holds Gaza Solidarity Rally, Symbolic Funerals for Palestinian Children Highlight Israeli Atrocities
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The Women’s Wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Tando Adam held a powerful Gaza Solidarity Rally to protest against Israeli aggression in Gaza and to express solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people. The protest featured symbolic funerals of innocent Palestinian children, drawing attention to the ongoing violence and humanitarian crisis.
The rally was led by Jamaat-e-Islami Sanghar District Nazima Salma Shoukat, Provincial Shura Member Farhat Hayat, and Tando Adam Nazima Naheed Waheed. It began from the Jamaat’s central office in Iqbal Colony and concluded at the Tando Adam Press Club after passing through key roads of the city.
Addressing the gathering at the Press Club, Jamaat-e-Islami leaders including Sanghar District Ameer Rafiq Mansoori, District Secretary Arshad Khaskheli, Tando Adam Ameer Syed Arifullah Saifi, Vice Ameers Mushtaq Ahmed Adil, Abdul Ghafoor Ansari, Secretary Abdul Sattar Ansari, and Muhammad Tufail condemned the Israeli bombings, stating that Palestine is not just a political issue but a matter of faith for the Muslim Ummah.
They said Israel, with the backing of the United States, continues to target innocent civilians, women, and children, reducing Gaza to rubble. The leaders also criticized the silence of global powers and human rights organizations, calling it deeply regrettable.
The speakers paid tribute to the courage and resistance of Hamas and the Palestinian fighters, stating that their sacrifice will not go in vain and the day is not far when Gaza will be free.
They urged the Government of Pakistan to take a firm stance by playing an active role on political, moral, financial, and diplomatic fronts to halt Israeli aggression. The rally participants, including women and children, held banners and placards with slogans in support of Palestine and against Israeli oppression. Emotional chants echoed throughout the march.
At the conclusion of the event, Jamaat-e-Islami reaffirmed its commitment to continue the boycott of Israeli products and to raise its voice for Gaza at every platform.
