Comprehensive plan started to restore beauty of Quetta: CM desires to make Quetta beautiful city of Pak; directs to ensure high standard in all projects of QDP
New projects proposed for expansion and beautification of roads in populous & congested areas of Quetta city; work on Airport Beautification Project started
QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has expressed the desire of making Quetta beautiful city of Pakistan and directed to the concerned high ups to ensure high standard in all development projects being executed under Quetta Development Package (QDP).
He also directed to ensure the given timeline for completion of the development projects maintaining quality of work.
In addition to this, he ordered to lodge FIR against those involved in the wall chalking on the walls
The Chief Minister issued these directives while chairing a review meeting of the QDP here on Monday. The meeting reviewed the progress of different development projects and deliberated on the proposed projects.
The Provincial Minister for Finance, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Advisor to Chief Minister for Local Government, Amir Hamza Khan Zehri, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development, Hafiz Abdul Basit, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Babar Khan, Secretary Communications, Lal Jan Jaffar, Commissioner Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, Project Director QDP, Rafiq Baloch and other concerned high ups.
Commissioner Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat and Project Director QDP, Rafiq Baloch briefed the meeting about the projects of QDP.
During the briefing, it was informed that implementation has been started on the comprehensive plan to restore traditional beauty of Quetta city. It was also informed that work has been started on the project of beautification and expansion of Airport Road.
It was proposed to initiate new projects for expansion and beautification of Quetta city in the populous and congested parts of the metropolis.
The Chief Miniter on the occasion announced that the beautiful homes having all facilities would be built for the dwellers of those 14 mud-houses to be affected due to the expansion of Airport Road.
He stressed that remarkable change and improvement should be seen in development and beautification projects by the local citizens and those coming from other cities.
He on occasion directed to take stern action against those found involved in spoiling the beauty under the Airport Road Beautification Project.
