Over 31,000 illegal refugees deported to Afghanistan as repatriation continues
QUETTA: The Commissioner Quetta Division, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat has informed that the repatriation of illegal refugees is continued to their homeland and over 31,000 persons residing illegally have so far been deported from Balochistan.
Speaking to media here, the Commissioner told that 1,000 to 1,500 illegal refugees are being deported to their homeland from Balochistan via Chaman border, on daily basis.
According to him, the necessary facilities including transportation are being provided to the refugees being repatriated from the province on daily basis.
Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat said that those repatriated so far were included 20,000 from Balochistan and remaining others were from Punjab and Sindh.
Some of them were included those repatriated on the voluntary basis, mentioned the Commissioner Quetta.
He said that the process of repatriation of illegal immigrants would remain continued in future as well, as per the directives of government.
