Doors of corruption & nepotism closed in development budget: Education, health and improvement of basic infrastructure to be focused onnext FY’s budget, pledges CM

Parliamentary committee formed headed by Mir Sarfraz Bugti to hold result-oriented talks with Prime Minister and federal Government on budget & PSDP related matters

 

QUETTA: The parliamentary committee headed by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti was formed to hold talks with the Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and federal government on the matters related to next financial year and public sector development programme (PSDP) here on Wednesday.

The parliamentary committee comprising provincial ministers and members of assembly from coalition parties was formed during a consultative meeting held with Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in the chair to discuss the next financial year budget and prepare PSDP of the province.

Those who were in attendance in the meeting were included parliamentary leaders of Pakistan People’s Party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Balochistan Awami Party, Awami National Party and Jamaat-e-Islami.

The parliamentary committee formed for talks with the federal government is comprised provincial ministers, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Noor Muhammad Dummar Nawabzada Tariq Khan Magsi, and members of assembly, Engineer Zamarak Khan Achakzai and Engineer Abdul Majeed Badini.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that education, health and improvement of basic infrastructure would be focused in the next financial year’s budget of the province.

He asserted that doors of corruption and nepotism have been closed in the development budget and added that only the approved projects would be made part of it.

H also vowed to take steps on priority basis for making the next budget compatible with the public needs.

He said that there is complete consensus and compatibility among all ally parties for development and prosperity of the province.

He assured that we would make utmost endeavour to resolve the public issues in the available resources through transparency and meritocracy in the next budget and PSDP.

Besides, the next budget would also be different from the traditions of past making it compatible with the requirements of general public. The projects of public interest would be given top priority so as to benefit the people at their doorstep, adding he reaffirmed.

He also said that it is resolve of our government that the people of province get their due rights and development is for all.
