QUETTA April 23, 2025: Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), Bilal Khan Kakar, met with Senator Agha Shahzeb Durrani, MPA Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, Balochistan Government Spokesperson Shahid Rind, and Sher Khan Nasir at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. During the meeting, Bilal Kakar briefed the officials on the measures undertaken by BBoIT to boost trade and economic activity, as well as the emerging opportunities for business and investment across the province.
Bilal Kakar stated that economic stability is essential for the development and prosperity of the province. He noted that Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti is focused on promoting business activities and attracting both domestic and foreign investment. To support this vision, the Balochistan Investment Board is taking practical and targeted steps to create an investor-friendly environment in the province.

Recently, an investment seminar was held in Karachi, attracting business leaders from across the country who expressed keen interest in investing in various sectors of Balochistan. In a parallel effort, ambassadors from key friendly nations were invited to Islamabad, where they were briefed on the investment opportunities in the province, as well as the incentives and facilities being offered by the government to encourage both local and international investors. In this regard, an international business summit is scheduled to be held in Islamabad in the near future. The event aims to position Balochistan as an attractive investment destination on the global stage, further enhancing its visibility and appeal to international investors.
He noted that the positive outcomes of the Balochistan government’s solid policies and proactive initiatives are now becoming evident, as a growing number of both domestic and foreign investors are showing readiness to engage in business activities in the province. On the occasion, Member of Provincial Assembly Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch also presented a book to Bilal Khan Kakar in celebration of World Book Day.
