After organizing the party in a government style and sharing power, how to manage the party politically while it is in the opposition is a challenge that anyone can learn from the Peoples Party leadership. Similarly, whether there is a civilian government in the country or a non-civilian or martial law government, how to manage these situations has been the task of the Peoples Party leadership from the beginning until now. The biggest tragedy with political parties and leaderships is the difficult test of managing oneself while in power. How to manage it has also been the task of the Peoples Party leadership to control the political and power symbols.The birthday of the current President of Pakistan Asif Ali Khan, senior politician and central women’s wing leader of the Peoples Party, madum Faryal Talpur, was celebrated on 26 april.Congratulations to all.
Today is the birthday of Madam Faryal Talpur Sahiba, the daughter of former senior politician Hakim Ali Khan Zardari. In this regard, I thought that why not write a few lines about Faryal Talpur Sahiba.
I have been wanting to write something about Madam Faryal Talpur Sahiba for a long time. But the opportunity and topic are difficult to come up with. Because even having an opportunity to write and finding a topic is very suitable for a writer.
It has rarely been seen in Pakistani politics that a woman has played such a big role in politics. But when the need or compulsion has come, they have shown their leadership in politics. For example, some examples can be given.
It is not true that no woman in politics is liked in our country, it is not so definite. Women in politics have also been liked with great interest. And these women who have come into politics have also shown their leadership.
Among them are Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, Mohtarma Begum Nusrat Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Bezair Bhutto Sahiba, Mohtarma Kulsoom Nawaz, Mohtarma Maryam Nawaz and Mohtarma Faryal Talpur Sahiba and in addition to these, there are many provincial-level leaders from Sindh or other provinces of the country.
Mohtarma Adi Faryal Talpur Sahiba is not only the sister of the current President of the country, Asif Ali Khan Zardari, but also the daughter of the country’s famous politician, the late Hakim Ali Khan Zardari.
Time, circumstances and responsibilities force a person to behave. The example of the politics of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Sahiba was our own, which would be an injustice to history and politics to not recognize her as a great and tolerant character of that time. Her political wisdom, keeping the circumstances in mind in the international context, and her influence on the domestic and political situations could be learned from this character at that time. In the same way, many other characters and examples can be presented. Examples of Begum Nusrat Bhutto Sahiba, examples of Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, and even Mohtarma Kulsoom Nawaz, who was in the opposition, can also be presented. Not recognizing which is also equivalent to denying the facts.
In a similar vein, many examples can be given of Ms. Faryal Talpur in political context. From which a student of history and politics cannot deny. In the current situation, the management of Sindh’s politics, which is controlled by the political management of a political party, seems to be something one can learn from Ms. Faryal Talpur. Having political wisdom and political management at the same time is the work of a shrewd character. Which Ms. Faryal Talpur also has.
After 2008, as soon as Asif Ali Khan Zardari took over the leadership of the PPP parliamentarians, he gave responsibilities to senior and trusted organizational friends, paying special attention to political management. Similarly, Asif Ali Khan Zardari, in the presence of his father, senior politician Hakim Ali Khan Zardari, gave some important responsibilities of the organization to his sister Adi Faryal Talpur.
The sudden martyrdom of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Sahiba created a huge gap in organizational leadership. When such sudden incidents occur in the field of politics, they also create huge crises. Controlling them and bringing them back to the same situation is no less than a test. Just as Mohtarma Benazir Sahiba herself, after her father Shaheed Bhutto at a young age, and like her mother Jamhuriyyat Mohtarma Begum Nusrat Bhutto, brought the party out of a political and leadership crisis, your example is rare in the political history of the country.
Students of politics and history are witnesses to the fact that Shaheed Mohtarma brought the political management of her organization under control and kept alive Shaheed Bhutto’s slogans of Jeey Bhutto and Roti, Kapra and Makan.
Similarly, in the current political situation of the country, Mohtarma Faryal Talpur, the eldest daughter of senior politician late Hakim Ali Khan Zardari and sister of the current President of Pakistan Asif Ali Khan Zardari, has played such a political and organizational role by performing organizational responsibilities that it has kept the opposition parties of the PPP, especially in Sindh, behind in political management. At present, the opposition parties of the PPP, both personally and politically, against Zardari, have no such precedent in the political history of Sindh.
In political and personal terms, it has taken more than thirty years for the anti-Asif Ali Khan Zardari mafia and anti-PPPP parties to formulate this statement. They have brought the temperature that the Zardari family has reached to such a point that they have considered raising slogans in the entire Sindh as an act of worship, “If you destroy Sindh, Zardari, etc.”
Isn’t there a PPP government in Sindh? Has the PPP not had any political and power partners in its 16 years of continuous power? Those who are raising slogans today are only raising slogans against the identity and personality of Asif Ali Khan Zardari.
The government in Sindh has been the PPP for the past 16 years and its allies have been the MQM, the Functional League and the Qaumi Movement, as well as the JUI and the Nawaz League! And Asif Ali Khan Zardari has never held any provincial government post, let alone been a member of the provincial assembly.
In this whole situation, while the Sindh government or the Chief Ministership has been with Syed Qaim Ali Shah for a few years and Syed Murad Ali Shah for a decade. Despite the names of various allies given above, they have been allies of the Sindh government from time to time. Despite this, the accusations, slander, and even Zardari, the Sindh Khapai,as if he could not face a political contest and could not face a political contest with the political management, targeting someone’s identity and personality seems like a big and historic demonstration of political failure. In this whole situation, whatever it may be, Ms. Faryal Talpur, who considers herself a political leader of her brother and nephews, especially in Sindh, by controlling the political management of the PPP and confronting political opponents with her plan, is also a great political quality. This quality was with Ms. Fatima Jinnah, this wisdom was with Begum Nusrat Bhutto Sahiba, and this same quality and even more additional quality of political leadership was with Shaheed Ms. Benazir Bhutto Sahiba.
The political management of the opposition parties in Sindh, which is possessed by Ms. Faryal Talpur, is also possessed by very few people. To gain the trust of the leadership, it is necessary to fulfill some responsibility. And this responsibility is to conduct the party and government affairs in a good manner politically and at the provincial level. We salute the daughter of the late Hakim Khan Zardari and sister of the current President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Khan Zardari, Adi Faryal Talpur, for the process of conducting political competition and at the same time congratulate her on her birthday. Because there are many forms of courage in society in the world and this Adi Faryal Talpur is a great form of political history, which has been going on for a decade and a half.
