Islamabad (PID AJK)28 April 2025: Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said that Kashmiris have been scripting a new history of resistance against India’s illegal occupation by sacrificing their lives. In an interview to a private news channel, the PM said that Kashmiris have drenched their homeland with their red-hot blood. The martyrs’ sacred blood, he said would never go in vain.Kashmiris’ struggle, he said is a portrait of pain, perseverance and resilience. After August 5, 2019, the PM noted, India deployed additional troops in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and turning the region virtually into a torture chamber. The entire region, he said was under a military siege and the Kashmir Valley was turned into an information black-hole for rest of the world.”All the development projects India had launched in Kashmir were primarily designed to secure strategic and military gains”, the PM said. India also attempted to host international conferences in Srinagar, but the major countries refused to participate, citing the disputed status of the region. The PM said that the Phalgam false flag operation, was orchestrated to create a pretext for water aggression. ” It has now become a bone in India’s throat, which it can neither swallow nor spit it out”, he remarked. The PM praised the current army chief for adopting a bold stance on the issue of Kashmir. He said India’s traditional intransigence has always been a stumbling block in the way of peace. The AJK premier said that Pakistan, as a sovereign state, has every right to respond to Indian hostility in whatever manner it deems necessary. He was of the view that the countries sometimes need to take tough decisions to assert their position and safeguard their existence. He said that the Pakistani government has given a timely and effective response to India, especially the statements made by the federal government. India’s defense doctrine, the PM said, was a mirror image of the Chanakya doctrine. He warned that India could attempt to escalate tensions along the Line of Control (LoC) or carry out terrorist activities in Azad Kashmir, but whatever actions it takes now will be met with a response eleven times stronger by the Kashmiri nation.
