Countdown starts, Good News for Students: Punjab Government is launching Laptop Distribution Drive Today
Lahore 29 April 2025: The wait is finally over for students eagerly anticipating laptops. The distribution of laptops among the high-achieving students of Punjab begins today. Minister for Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat, shared the exciting news, stating that the initiative kicks off in Lahore today, marking the fulfilment of another promise made by Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz. Minister Education has said that the first distribution ceremony will be held at UET Lahore today, with similar events scheduled across all divisions of the province. Rana Sikandar Hayat further announced that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will personally oversee the distribution of laptops in each division. He emphasized that the laptops being provided are equipped with modern technology, enhancing students’ academic and digital learning capabilities. A total of 110,000 laptops will be distributed among students of public sector universities and colleges. The education minister added that this initiative reflects the government’s commitment to empowering youth, noting, “The Chief Minister has once again delivered on her promise to the young generation.” He also stated, “The Pakistan Muslim League (N) does not make hollow promises. We fulfill every commitment. Whatever we say, we make it happen.” He concluded by affirming that every promise made by the party is materializing in the form of concrete developmental projects.
