Condemns cancellation of Indus Water Treaty: Balochistan Assembly adopts joint resolution against Indian allegations & aggression on Pakistan

QUETTA: The Balochistan Assembly adopted a joint resolution against Indian baseless allegation against Pakistan regarding the Pahalgam incident.
The joint resolution was tabled by the Parliamentary Secretary, Nawabzada Zarain Khan Magsi in the session of assembly, held with the Speaker, Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai in the chair on Wednesday.
In the joint resolution, it was stated that if India attacked on Pakistan, then befitting response would be given to it.
The resolution said that the people of Balochistan are standing shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces.
It was demanded of the government to expose the India’s terrorism role before the world.
Besides, the resolution also condemned the cancellation of Indus Water Treaty by India.
Speaking on the resolution, the Chief Minister said that it is matter of pleasure that the government and opposition are on one page on the matter.
He said that India is itself involved in the incidents of terrorism occurring in India. He said that if the peace of the region was destroyed then other countries would also be affected.
He said that the people of Balochistan have given verdict that if there was any aggression then they would be with their armed forces.
He also announced that we would do war if the water of Pakistan was stopped. He said that our army would give befitting response to India on its aggression against Pakistan.
Earlier, the members of provincial assembly belonging to opposition and treasury benches fully endorsed the resolution.
The leader of Opposition, Mir Younas Aziz Zehri, Advisor to Chief Minister for Youth Affairs, Meena Majeed Baloch, Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Parliamentary Secretary Minorities Affairs, Sanjay Kumar, Members of Provincial Assembly, Abdul Majeed Badini, Ali Madad Jatak, Rehmat Saleh Baloch, Shahida Rauf, Zamarak Khan Achakzai and others said that we are united against the Indian aggression against Pakistan.
The Opposition leader said that Pahalgam incident was the security lapse, and India is levelling baseless allegations against Pakistan.
He said that if war was imposed on us by India, then befitting response would be given to it.
Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran said that we may have countless differences among ourselves, but when it comes to integrity of our country, we all stand united. He said that the Indian-backed people are spoiling the situation in Balochistan, and we have solid proofs of it.
Sanjay Kumar condemned the Indian allegations and aggression against Pakistan and said that Modi government is befooling the masses before elections.
Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch said that if India attacked on Pakistan, then it (India) would be dismantled like Soviet Union.
While supporting the resolution, Ms. Menna Majeed Baloch said that the people of Pakistan are standing by their forces. She said that when even a dog dies in India, it’s blame is levelled on Pakistan.
Ali Madad Jatak said that we have not kept the nuclear bomb for mere show-off. He said that if Modi dares to cast an evil eye at us, we will teach such a lesson that he would never forget.
Later, the session of provincial assembly was adjourned to meet against at 03:00 PM on May 02, 2025.
