Route permits of 11 buses of various companies cancelled ban imposed: Government initiates crackdown against employees involved in anti-state activities
Chief Minister says thorough implementation on Provincial Action Plan is unavoidable for restoration of peace; calls for speedy measures; orders to keep strict vigil on anti-state propaganda and activities
QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has initiated crackdown against the employees involved in the anti-state activities in the province.
The route permits of 11 buses of different transport companies on the allegation of assistance in the anti-state activities have been cancelled with ban imposed on them.
This was informed by the high ups of Provincial Home Department during a review meeting on implementation on the Provincial Action Plan here on Thursday.
The Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti presided over the meeting, which was attended by the Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan and secretaries of all the departments.
The Provincial Home Department briefed the meeting about the Provincial Action Plan in detail.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister stressed that thorough implementation on the Provincial Action Plan is unavoidable for restoration of peace and as such there is a need to take steps in this regard.
He ordered to make the Provincial Action Plan more coordinated and effective.
He stressed that we have to make collective decisions. He said that interest of state should be held in high esteem and merit be given priority.
He said that the war against terrorism is not of the army only, rather it is war of every individual. He directed to the concerned high ups to keep strict vigil on the anti-state propaganda and activities.
He said we have to take review of that whether any NGO is involved in any illegal activities?
He also said that we have to bring comprehensive laws with consultation of all stakeholders.
He said that difference in truth and lies is a thin line and as such we need to bring facts based on truth before the public in present era of social media and artificial intelligence.
He also emphasized that we have to look at truth and reality not the popular narrative.
Earlier, the Chief Minister expressed pleasure that 1436 closed schools have been opened in short span of two months for the first time in history of the province.
During the briefing, high ups of Education Department informed that orders of recruitment of 7908 contract teachers were issued while recruitment orders of 3500 more would be issued soon.
