Members of NA Advisory Committee unanimously denounces India’s misleading and false propaganda against Pakistan

NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq chairs House Business Advisory Committee

Islamabad, May 5, 2025- A meeting of the House Business Advisory Committee of the National Assembly was held today under the chairmanship of Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, at the Parliament House, Islamabad.
The committee reviewed the agenda and duration of the ongoing 16th session of the National Assembly. It was unanimously agreed that the current session will continue until May 16, 2025.

Members of the committee strongly condemned the baseless accusations levelled by India against Pakistan. They underscored the need for a unified response to India’s false narrative and agreed to adopt a proactive diplomatic and media strategy to counter the misinformation campaign on international platforms.
It was also decided that a unanimous resolution will be tabled in the National Assembly to condemn India’s unfounded allegations and to reaffirm Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and security. The members expressed solidarity in defending Pakistan’s stance and exposing fabricated claims intended to malign the country.
Representatives from all major political parties endorsed the proposal, emphasizing the importance of national unity in the face of external challenges.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah; Federal Ministers Rana Tanveer Hussain, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Khalid Hussain Magsi; and Members of the National Assembly including Shehla Raza, Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani, Malik Amir Dogar, Ijaz-ul-Haq, Noor Alam Khan, Talal Chaudhry, Syed Amin-ul-Haque, Shazia Atta Marri, Zartaj Gul, Paulene Baloch, Gul Asghar Khan, and Riaz Fatyana.
