Performs groundbreaking of Sui-Kashmore Road project: Govt has firm resolve to include underdeveloped areas including Dera Bugti in mainstream of development: CM

Mir Sarfraz Bugti says vital 53-kilometer road project to be helpful in integrating remote areas intonational mainstream development

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that development of the backward areas of the province is top priority of provincial government and added that the Sui-Kashmore road project would prove to be helpful to integrate the remote aeras into national mainstream.
He said that the incumbent government has firm resolve to include all backward areas of the province including Dera Bugti in the mainstream development. In this regard, the practical steps have been started, he added.
The Chief Minister was addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of the 53-kilometer Sui-Kashmore road project in Sui on Monday.
Also present on the occasion were Federal Parliamentary Secretary Petroleum, Mian Khan Bugti, Chairman District Council, Mir Ghulam Nabi Shambani and other elders of the area.

He formally performed groundbreaking of the vital project. The Project Director of Sui-Kashmore road project briefed the Chief Minister about the project.
He informed that the project would be completed costing Rs. 9,351 million. It was said that the launching of any major communication project after 28 years would prove to be a historic milestone in development of the area.
The Chief Minister said that Sui-Kashmore road is the first major communication project starting in Dera Bugti district. He said that there would be marked improvement in the means of communication after completion of the project. While on the other hand, the road project would pave the way for local development changing fate of the whole area, he maintained.
He said that Sui-Kashmore road is not mere a road, rather it is a journey towards development, prosperity and stability in the area.
It would also bring positive changes in lives of the local population besides making an easy access to the medical services and educational institution.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti also said that the present government is representative of the people’s aspirations. He said that we are endeavouring hard to complete the development projects on priority basis. He said that we want to make Balochistan peaceful, prosperous and developed province, which may play important role in development of the whole country.
He on the occasion directed to the concerned authorities to complete the Sui-Kashmore road project in the stipulated time ensuring quality of work.
