ANF Seizes Narcotics Worth Millions in Multiple Operations

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has conducted a series of operations in various cities across the country, resulting in the arrest of 9 suspects and the seizure of 148.400 kilograms of narcotics worth over Rs. 156.8 million.

The operations were carried out in different locations, including RCD Road, Gwadar, Burhan Interchange in Attock, Islamabad, and Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza in Attock.

During the operations, ANF recovered 12 kg of charas from two suspects traveling on a passenger bus, 9.6 kg of charas from a vehicle near Burhan Interchange, and 8.4 kg of charas from another vehicle in Islamabad. Additionally, 2.4 kg of charas was seized from two motorcycle riders near Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza, and 6 kg of charas was recovered from a vehicle on RCD Road. In a separate operation, 110 kg of heroin was seized from a deserted area in Chaman district.

The arrested suspects have been booked under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations have been initiated.
