YPF reaffirms commitment to empower youth of Balochistan, reviewing Youth Policy

QUETTA; The Balochistan Young Parliamentarians Forum has reaffirmed its commitment to empowering youth of the province and reviewing the provincial youth policy.
The YPF met with its chairman, Ravi Kumar Pahuja in the chair in the Provincial Assembly on Tuesday.
The young parliamentarians including Zareen Khan Magsi, Zafar Ali Agha, Mir Jahanzaib Mengal, Mir Liaquat Ali Lehri, Sanjay Kumar, Hadia Nawaz, Kulsoom Niaz Baloch, and Salma Kakar, attended the session.
The meeting aimed to deliberate on the challenges faced by the youth and develop a joint strategy to address them.
The key issues discussed in the meeting were included unemployment, lack of quality education, limited access to digital opportunities, and the widening gap between youth and policymakers.
The participants were agreed that sustainable development and lasting peace are not possible without involving youth in the policymaking process.
It was decided to review the Balochistan Youth Policy thoroughly.
The forum members also expressed their resolve to visit universities, colleges, and remote areas across the province to engage directly with young people and listen to their concerns.
Chairman of YPF Ravi Pahuja highlighted that this is the first time a dedicated platform has been established within the Assembly for the youth of Balochistan.
He vowed to make the Young Parliamentarian Forum the voice of youth.
The members also agreed to establish links with the National Assembly’s Young Parliamentarians Forum and similar platforms in other provincial assemblies to foster cooperation and joint initiatives.
The forum reiterated its commitment to ensuring youth participation through strong policy frameworks, capacity-building programs, and the creation of employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. It pledged to serve as a bridge between the youth and the provincial assembly — ensuring not only that young voices are heard but also that meaningful action is taken on their concerns
