Perpetrators to be brought to justice: GoB condemns attack on PPP  leader Ali Madad Jatak’s  convoy, seeks report

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has strongly condemned the attack on the convoy of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader and Member of the Provincial Assembly, Ali Madad Jatak, and has ordered a detailed report on the incident.

In a statement issued in Quetta, spokesman, Shahid Rind described the attack as a cowardly act, stating that assaults on elected representatives are tantamount to attacks on the democratic system.

The spokesman emphasized that action against elements involved in disrupting peace and order is essential. He assured that the perpetrators will be brought to justice and held accountable.

Shahid Rind added that the government is utilizing all available resources to ensure the safety of citizens and public representatives.

He said that such actions will not weaken the government’s resolve.
