Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Food Zahir Shah Toru, attended the oath-taking ceremony of the Empower Youth Parliament as the chief guest and administered the oath to the newly elected members. The ceremony was held in Peshawar and aimed to promote youth leadership, confidence, and socio-political engagement.
Addressing the gathering, Zahir Shah Toru stated that youth are the true asset of any nation, and only through their proper guidance and empowerment can a prosperous and progressive future be achieved. The minister added that platforms like Empower Youth Parliament provide young people with the opportunity to raise their voices, take on leadership roles, and contribute to the resolution of social and political issues.
Shah encouraged the youth to adopt a positive approach towards societal improvement and to excel in educational and social sectors. He reaffirmed the commitment of the KP government to support youth development initiatives and create opportunities for the young generation to play a meaningful role in society.
During the event, the newly elected youth parliamentarians expressed their resolve to work actively in areas such as social service, environment, education and health.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Toru congratulated the elected members and extended his best wishes for their future endeavors.
