CM and Finance Minister extend warm greetings on Hazara Culture Day

Mir Sarfraz Bugti says Hazara Culture Day is not only a celebration of cultural heritage but also sends a powerful message to world that Balochistan is a bouquet of diverse ethnicities and civilizations

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Hazara community on the occasion of Hazara Culture Day.
In his message, he stated that the Hazara community is a beautiful and dignified cultural identity of Balochistan, strengthening social harmony through its unique traditions, way of life, and rich heritage.
The Chief Minister noted that Hazara civilization reflects a graceful blend of Central Asian influences and local culture, making it an integral part of Quetta’s identity and diversity.
He acknowledged the community’s contributions in various fields such as education, defence, healthcare, and public service, saying they have always served the nation with distinction.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti added that Hazara cuisine, attire, language, and literature symbolize social unity and national cohesion. He emphasized that Hazara Culture Day is not only a celebration of cultural heritage but also sends a powerful message to the world that Balochistan is a bouquet of diverse ethnicities and civilizations—each deserving of pride and respect.
Similarly, the finance minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Hazara community.
In his statement, he said that Hazara Culture Day is not only a symbol of one community’s cultural identity but also represents the broader cultural diversity and harmony of Balochistan.
He praised the distinct traditions, lifestyle, language, attire, crafts, and cuisine of the Hazara community, saying they enrich the multicultural fabric of the province. The Minister emphasized that cultural events like this reconnect the younger generation with their roots and revive fading traditions with renewed spirit.
Mir Shoaib Nosherwani further stated that a community’s identity is deeply linked to its culture, and the Hazara community has played an exemplary role in preserving their cultural heritage. He added that such days inspire values of social harmony, tolerance, and unity.
The finance minister reiterated the provincial government’s commitment to preserving and promoting the cultural identity of every ethnic group and tribe in Balochistan, expressing hope that the province’s youth will represent it positively on national and international stages through their talents.
