ANF Cracks Down on Narcotics Smuggling in Educational Institutions and Cities

Rawalpindi. May.23- The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has conducted operations in various cities and around educational institutions, arresting 5 suspects, including an Afghan national, and seizing 49 kilograms of narcotics worth over Rs. 9 million.

In Quetta, 4 kilograms of charas were recovered from two suspects near a university, who confessed to selling narcotics to students. Other operations led to the recovery of 43 kilograms of opium from a truck in Quetta and 2 kilograms of ice from a rickshaw in Sialkot. Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
