Justice Rozi Khan Barrech takes oath as acting Chief Justice BHC
QUETTA: The senior Judge of the Balochistan High Court, Mr. Justice Rozi Khan Barrech taken the oath as the Acting Chief Justice of the High Court.
The Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail administered the oath to Mr. Justice Rozi Khan Barrech.
The oath taking ceremony was held at the Governor House on Friday afternoon, which was attended by the former Governors and former Chief Justices of High Court, Mr. Justice (Retd) Amirul Mulk Mengal and Mr. Justice (Retd) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai, provincial high ups, fellow judges of the High Court, President Supreme Court Bar Association, Eauf Atta Advocate, office bearers of different bar associations including the Balochistan High Court Bar and Quetta Bar Association besides the senior lawyers.
It may be mentioned here that Mr. Justice Rozi Khan Barrech was elevated as the acting Chief Justice on June 5, 2025.
Mr. Justice Rozi Khan Barrech was born on 7th March 1964 in Quetta. He completed his matriculation in 1984 and Intermediate in 1986. He did his graduation in 1988. He LLB from University Law College, Quetta in 1990 and Masters in 1991.
Justice Rozi Khan Barrech joined the judiciary in Balochistan as Additional District and Sessions Judge in the year 1998. He has served in various districts of Balochistan as Additional District & Sessions Judge and District & Sessions Judge, Special Judge and District & Sessions Judge Inspection. He took charge of Registrar, High Court of Balochistan on 4th November 2016.
Justice Rozi Khan Barrech was elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court of Balochistan on 31st May 2019. and confirmed as Judge of the High Court of Balochistan
