Islamabad, June 6, 2025: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah and the Pakistani nation on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. He stated that Eid-ul-Adha conveys the message of sacrifice, devotion, sincerity, and obedience. He said that the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Ismail (AS) is a timeless example of pure servitude and obedience to Allah, serving as a guiding light for humanity. He added that Eid-ul-Adha reminds us to be willing to make all kinds of sacrifices for the sake of Allah Almighty, and to show full obedience and humility before His commands.

Speaker NA said that the true essence of Eid lies in including the needy, orphans, and underprivileged segments of society in our celebrations. He emphasized that helping the deserving people around us is a collective responsibility. By including them in our joy, we can attain the pleasure of Allah Almighty, he added. Speaker also stressed the importance of cleanliness and hygiene during Eid-ul-Adha, stating that while it is our religious duty to offer sacrifice in the spirit of Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi, it is equally our shared responsibility to maintain cleanliness, discipline, and fulfill our social obligations. He urged the public to properly dispose of sacrificial waste and hides as per government guidelines, to keep the sanitation system running smoothly and to help prevent the spread of diseases and environmental pollution.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized the importance of remembering the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine during this time of celebration, acknowledging their unwavering struggle and profound sacrifices in the pursuit of freedom and fundamental human rights. He expressed deep concern over the silence and lack of action by the international community in response to the serious human rights violations committed by India and Israel. He urged the global community to take serious notice of the situation and take effective and immediate steps to ensure justice for the oppressed Kashmiris and Palestinians.

On this occasion, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow upon us the understanding of the true spirit of Eid-ul-Adha and the strength to embody its teachings by embracing the noble Islamic values of sacrifice, devotion, and obedience in our lives. He expressed hope that this blessed day would serve as a source of joy, blessings, and spiritual elevation for the Muslim Ummah, especially the Pakistani nation, and that by promoting the spirit of brotherhood, unity, and solidarity, we could contribute to building a peaceful, just, and compassionate society.
