Suggestions of MPAs to be included in budget: CM reiterates provincial Govt’s resolve to ensure transparency in projects & fair distribution of resources

QUETTA: The Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has reiterated his government’s resolve to ensuring transparency in development projects and the fair distribution of resources.
Regarding the upcoming fiscal year’s budget, the Chief Minister stated that priority would be given to education, health, employment, and law and order. In addition to this, the budget would primarily focus on public welfare and the development of underprivileged areas, maintained the Chief Minister while chairing the meeting of parliamentary committee about formulation of province’s budget for next financial year, here at the CM’s secretariat on Thursday.

The parliamentary leaders from the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), Awami National Party (ANP), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) attended the meeting.
The meeting decided to include the suggestions of the members of provincial assembly in the budget.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the budget is being prepared with a focus on public needs and ground realities.
He emphasized that public welfare and the development of underprivileged areas would be the central focus of the budget.
