Justice Rozi Khan Barrech sworn in as 24th CJ of Balochistan High Court

QUETTA: The newly appointed Mr. Justice Rozi Khan Barrech took oath as 24th Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court, here on Tuesday.
The Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail administered the oath to Mr. Justice Rozi Khan Barrech at a simple but impressive ceremony held at Governor House.
The ceremony of oath taking was attended by the Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, judge of Supreme Court, Mr. Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, former Governors, Justice (Retd) Amirul Mulk Mengal and Justice (Retd) Amanullah Yasinzai, provincial ministers, fellow judges of High Court, senior lawyers, office bearers of different bar associations and council besides the senior civil high ups.
Justice Rozi Khan Barrech Son of Mehrban Khan, was born on 7th March 1964 in Quetta. He completed his matriculation in 1984 and Intermediate in 1986. He did his graduation in 1988. He LLB from University Law College, Quetta in 1990 and Masters in 1991.
Justice Rozi Khan Barrech joined the judiciary in Balochistan as Additional District and Sessions Judge in the year 1998. He has served in various districts of Balochistan as Additional District & Sessions Judge and District & Sessions Judge, Special Judge and District & Sessions Judge Inspection. He took charge of Registrar, High Court of Balochistan on 4th November 2016.
Justice Rozi Khan Barrech was elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court of Balochistan on 31st May 2019 and confirmed as Judge of the High Court of Balochistan on the 07th of May, 2021.
Justice Rozi Khan Barrech took oath as Acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Balochistan on 06th June, 2025.
