IG Islamabad Reviews Police Performance and Directs Improvements

Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held a crucial meeting with Station House Officers (SHOs) late at night to assess the performance of police stations, crime prevention strategies, and measures to address public grievances promptly. During the meeting, IG Islamabad emphasized the importance of transforming police stations into centers of justice and service, ensuring citizen-centric policing, and upholding the dignity and respect of women visitors.

He stressed the need for strict adherence to the SOPs, timely disposal of applications, and zero tolerance for negligence in official duties. IG Rizvi directed SHOs to manage police stations professionally, ensure transparent utilization of allocated funds, and prioritize the welfare of police officers. He also underscored the importance of visible police presence in station jurisdictions, effective emergency response, and proactive patrolling to curb crimes and monitor suspicious elements.

By prioritizing these measures, IG Islamabad aims to enhance public trust and satisfaction with police services, ultimately contributing to a safer and more secure community.
