Vice Chairman of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Bar Council, Advocate Uqab Hashmi, called on President Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, here on Sunday.During the meeting, they discussed issues of mutual interest including concerning the legal fraternity.On the occasion, President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, commended the legal fraternity for its vital role in upholding the constitution and the rule of law in Azad Kashmir. He also stressed the importance of ensuring affordable and timely justice for the people.Highlighting the lawyers’ contribution to the Kashmir cause, the President noted that the legal community, being a dynamic segment of society, can play a pivotal role in advocating for the rights of Kashmiris and exposing Indian atrocities through effective use of digital media platforms.
