ANF conducted 6 operations, arrested 10 accused around educational institutions & in various cities of the country, & recovered 88.4 kgs of drugs, worth more than 1 Crore 29 lac PKR
Educational institutions Drug Interdiction
1. Near a school on Adiala Road, Rawalpindi, 1.2 kg of hashish recovered from two motorcyclists
* The arrested suspects confessed selling drugs to students of educational institutions
Domestic Drug Interdiction
1. Near Mandi Mor, Islamabad, 14.4 kgs of hashish confiscated from a vehicle and motorcyclists, 4 accused arrested
2. Near Sabzi Mandi, Islamabad, 22.8 kgs of hashish recovered from a vehicle, 2 individuals apprehended
3. Near the Kech area of Mand, 3 kgs of heroin, 6 kgs of ice, & 9 kgs of hashish hidden recovered for smuggling
Inter-provincial Drug Interdiction
1. Near Sheikhupura Toll Plaza, 22.8 kgs of hashish & 7.2 kgs of opium recovered from secret compartments of a vehicle, an accused apprehended
2. Near Islamabad Motorway Toll Plaza, 2 kgs of ice recovered from secret compartments of a vehicle, an individual arrested
