Karachi, July 22, 2025 : A young man was shot dead near Alkaram Textile in Saifullah Goth, located on the SITE Super Highway. The deceased has been identified as Akhlaq, aged about 17 or 18 years. Initial reports suggest that the incident was a result of personal enmity. The culprits managed to escape while the body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
Two more people lost their lives in two other incidents in Karachi. 45-year-old Khursheed Ahmed, son of Ghori Aman, was killed as a result of a personal dispute at Eid Gah Ground in Purana Golimar. His body has been shifted to Civil Hospital and legal proceedings are underway.
In Khokhrapar No. 5, a 26-year-old youth, Rizwan, son of Saleem, was injured by firing during a personal dispute. The injured has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital and authorities are investigating the incident.
During a police operation at Tanki Ground in North Nazimabad, two persons were arrested. Accused Muhammad Arshad, son of Muhammad Anwar, was injured during the encounter, while Zain Ali, son of Zulfiqar Ali, was also taken into custody. The authorities recovered pistols, bullets, a motorcycle and stolen car parts from the possession of the accused.
In another incident, the body of an unidentified person, aged between 30 and 35 years, was found near Masjid Aqsa in Scheme 33. The body has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death.
In Sakhi Hassan, 24-year-old Salman, son of Zarreen, was injured by accidental firing while cleaning his gun. He has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and the authorities are investigating the incident.
