Quetta, July 22: As a significant step toward promoting investment and developing the private sector in Balochistan, the Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), Mr. Bilal Khan Kakar, presided over a high-level meeting with the Radius ICT team. The purpose of the meeting was to consult on the establishment of the Business Facilitation Center.
This center is being established as a modern and convenient hub to provide all government services in one place to businesspeople and investors, so that business processes can be made easier, more transparent, and more effective.
The meeting discussed digital integration of various government departments, formation of a centralized service delivery system for investors, development of modern digital infrastructure to enable e-governance and tracking systems, and the preparation of a framework for effective coordination between departments.
Vice Chairman Bilal Khan Kakar stated that the Business Facilitation Center is not just a building, but a message to our investors that Balochistan is open for business. We are committed to eliminating bureaucratic hurdles, reducing processing time, and providing full facilitation to every investor.
He further said, “Our goal is to bring Balochistan up to national and international investment standards. Such initiatives will create opportunities for growth for both local entrepreneurs and international investors.”
Mr. Bilal Khan Kakar added that this initiative is part of the vision to make Balochistan a regional investment hub, where natural resources, geographic importance, and developmental potential can be effectively utilized.
With the completion of the BFC, not only will investor confidence increase, but the center will also play an important role in bringing about positive economic transformation in Balochistan.
