Workshop held at Punjab University to enhance research skills through effective use of software

Lahore, July 26, 2025 : Punjab University Library recently organized a workshop focusing on utilizing Scopus through the HEC database for bibliometrics and systematic reviews. The session aimed to promote research capabilities through expert software utilization. The Chief Librarian, Dr. Muhammad Haroon Usmani, along with students, researchers, and faculty members from Punjab University and other institutions participated in the program.

Dr. Usmani, noting the enthusiastic participation and feedback from attendees, stated that the importance of such technical training is immense for scholarly and research activities. He commended the organizers and emphasized the need for similar educational programs to strengthen academic pursuits.
