(SPECIAL REPORT): In Halani, near the Buddo branch on the Lakha Road link road, school teachers Abdul Razaq Malik and Rahim Malik of Bhalani were robbed at gunpoint. The criminals escaped after snatching their motorcycle, cash, Saudi Riyals, and mobile phones.
In a separate incident, near Chang Minor on the Mehran Highway in Akri, robbers stopped Aftab Lashari at gunpoint in broad daylight and snatched his motorcycle, 20,000 rupees, and mobile phone.
Following these crimes, the Lashari community protested on the Mehran Highway.
Meanwhile, the Malik community and the PTA Teachers Association, led by Roshan Sahato, Abdul Razaq Malik, Akram Malik, and Bachal Hangoro, held a protest demonstration on the National Highway outside the Halani police station. The protesters demanded that SSP Naushahro Feroze address the rising security concerns, emphasizing that such robberies have become commonplace. They cited the recent robberies of teacher Abdul Razaq Malik and ice merchant Akram Malik of Mehrabpur, which occurred within the jurisdiction of the Halani police station
