Lahore (P.R) : Afzal Art Gallery organized Art Exhibition at Alhamra Arts Council. Special guest Sadia Maqsood Public Relations Officer Archeology and Museums Government of Punjab, Mr Razi Ahmed Chairman Al -Hamra Arts Council Lahore and others inaugurated the Exhibition. The exhibition was attended by Maryam Saghir, Sheeba Zia, Feza Mahboob, Sobia Mahmood, Raheela Owais, Tanzila Abrar, Ujala Naeem, Fatima Hussein, Salma Hameed, Saher Gul and other artists informed the audience about their art. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Saadia Maqsood Public Relations Officer archaeology and museums Government of Punjab expressed her views that most of the artists presented in the exhibition are reflecting the feelings of women. Looks like a reflection of society, the same society developed in the world whose artists and poets deliver a message of change in their creations. In this modern age, these young artists are the rays of hope that will become a minaret of light.
Guest Special Razi Ahmed Chairman Al -Hamra Arts Council Lahore said that serving the art is in our duties, the art council doors are open to artists. He highlighted the services of Mian Afzal Javed saying that our society needs a lot of people who serve the art and highlight the artist’s art. He is hoped that Mian Afzal Javed will continue to organize such programs in other cities of the country while continuing his services.
A large number of eminent guests and the public attended the exhibition of Painting art and praised the art of the artists.
Afzal Art Gallery presented certificates to all the participants and shields were also distributed among the guests.The Art Exhibition will continue also today.
