ANF Cracks Down on Drug Traffickers, Seizes 223 Kgs of Narcotics

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has conducted a series of operations across the country, resulting in the arrest of 9 individuals and the recovery of 223 kilograms of drugs worth over PKR 6 crore 56 lac. The operations were carried out near educational institutions and in various cities, highlighting the ANF’s efforts to curb drug trafficking and abuse.

The ANF operations near educational institutions in Rawalpindi led to the recovery of 2.4 kilograms of hashish and the arrest of one individual. The accused confessed to selling drugs to students. At Faisalabad Airport, ANF officials seized 69 heroin-filled capsules weighing 340 grams from a passenger traveling to Dubai.

In Karachi, ANF operations resulted in the recovery of 126 kilograms of ice and 18 kilograms of heroin from a vehicle, and 72 kilograms of hashish from another location. Two suspects were apprehended in the first case, and one in the second. The ANF’s efforts to combat drug trafficking and abuse are crucial in protecting the country’s youth and communities. The organization’s operations demonstrate its commitment to enforcing narcotics laws and preventing the spread of illicit substances.
