Water Board provides 350,000 gallons of water to extinguish fire in Landhi Export Zone

Karachi, August 7, 2025 : On the instructions of Water Corporation Chief Executive Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, the Karachi Water Corporation (KWC) is continuously supplying water to emergency relief workers tackling a factory fire in Karachi’s Landhi Export Processing Zone. A KWC representative said Hydrant Cell Focal Person Shahbaz Bashir is supervising the water supply operation.

The utility has already provided 350,000 gallons of water to firefighters, and tankers are continuously delivering water to the scene. The representative confirmed that the continuous supply will be maintained until the fire department completely controls the fire. KWC is working in coordination with the fire service during the incident
