Assistant Commissioner Khushab, Chaudhry Ziaullah, held a special meeting with Ms. Rabia Haider, Assistant Director of the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project. During the meeting, Ms. Rabia Haider gave a detailed briefing on the ongoing Agosh Program in Khushab district.
She informed that under the Punjab Government’s Agosh Program, being implemented in 13 districts of the province, each pregnant woman is being provided up to Rs. 23,000 in phases. For registration, expectant mothers must visit the nearest government hospital with their original CNIC, their husband’s CNIC, and an active mobile number. Payments are then disbursed by the Punjab Social Protection Authority (Punjab Human Capital Investment Project) according to each visit.
Challenges faced in implementing the program were also discussed. The Assistant Commissioner assured that these issues would be resolved in coordination with the relevant departments, ensuring that all beneficiaries receive their entitled funds without delay
