According to the details, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt held a meeting regarding the cases of heinous crimes under investigation.
The meeting was attended by Zonal SPs, SDPOs, SHOs and investigation officers. The SSP Investigation reviewed the ongoing investigations of robbery and other serious crimes giving instructions to the officers to improve their performance further.
He emphasized taking strict legal action against the perpetrators of heinous crimes and incidents. He directed that the arrested accused should be interrogated on merit and the challan should be submitted to the relevant courts with solid evidence.
The convicted criminals should be ensured maximum punishment by the courts. He also stressed the need to ensure the arrest of the remaining members of criminal gangs and the quick arrest of wanted criminals.
Moreover, he added that the arrest of absconders and proclaimed offenders should be prioritized. The safety and security of citizens lives and property is our top priority and any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
