The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has launched the “Apna Meter, Apni Reading” mobile app, allowing consumers to take control of their electricity meter readings. Developed by the Power Information Technology Company (PITC) under the Power Division, this app enables users to submit their meter readings directly, promoting transparency and accuracy in billing ¹.

 

–  Consumers can take a picture of their meter reading on the designated date and upload it to the app.

– Accurate Billing: The monthly bill will be generated based on the user-provided reading, eliminating the need for estimated bills.

– Transparency: Users can monitor their bills and oversee the reading process, reducing errors and disputes.

The app also allows users to apply for new connections and access other services

Prevents Overbilling: Consumers can avoid inflated bills caused by incorrect meter readings.

– Accurate billing and direct control lead to efficiency and peace of mind Users can track their usage with up-to-date information.

 

 

– The app is available for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

– Currently, the app is available for 1-phase meter users in Quetta and other areas served by QESCO.

 

By using the “Apna Meter, Apni Reading” app, consumers can take charge of their electricity meter readings, ensuring accurate bills and promoting transparency in the billing process .
