Loralai, August 14, – The 78th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with great fervor and patriotism in District Loralai. Various events were organized, attended by citizens, students, teachers, government officials, and dignitaries.

The main flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, where Commissioner Loralai Division Wali Muhammad Badri, Deputy Commissioner Miran Baloch, Vice Chancellor University of Loralai Dr. Ehsanullah Kakar, and Assistant Commissioners Nadeem Akram Baloch and Yahya Khan Kakar participated. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem.
The Balochistan Levies Force presented a spectacular march past, showcasing their discipline and patriotism. The Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner saluted the young participants, praising their professionalism.
A colorful cultural program was held at BRC College Loralai, featuring student performances that highlighted the country’s rich cultural heritage. Students presented traditional dances, including Balochi Chap, Pashtoon Attan, Punjabi Jhumar, and Sindhi dance. They also recited Naat, sang national songs, and delivered speeches on Pakistan’s history and struggle for independence.
Awards and certificates were distributed to students who showed outstanding performance in various events.
Commissioner Wali Muhammad Bariach emphasized the importance of understanding the true spirit of Independence Day, saying, “Independence Day is the result of a long struggle and sacrifices. We must not only celebrate this day but also understand its significance. The younger generation should make education, character building, and loyalty to the country their guiding principles.
The ceremony was attended by civil society members, representatives of political parties, heads of various institutions, and a large number of citizens, who expressed their love for Pakistan and chanted slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad.
