Karachi (Sports Reporter) Trials for the formation of Karachi’s boys and girls hockey teams for the National Youth Games will begin tomorrow. The Karachi Hockey Association has announced a selection committee in this regard. According to the schedule, the boys’ trials will be held on August 16 (Saturday) at 11 am at the Olympian Hanif Khan and Dr. Junaid Ali Shah Sports Complex, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, while the girls’ trials will be held on August 17 (Sunday) at the same venue. The announced selection committee includes Olympian Iftikhar Syed as the chairman, while the members include Olympian Wasim Feroz, International Laiq Lashari, Tasneem Usmani, Salman Sheikh, Sameera Naseem, Batool Kazim while DSO Ismail Shah as the coordinator. Only boys and girls players born between 2008 and 2011 will be eligible. Can participate in trials.
