Islamabad, August 17, 2025 : Karachi police conducted an extensive search operation in the city’s South district on Thursday night as part of an ongoing campaign against crime and drug smuggling, searching over 150 people. Overseen by senior police officials, the operation was concentrated in the Preedy Police Station area.

Law enforcement personnel, including officers from the Saddar and Preedy police stations, and intelligence agents sealed entry and exit points to the area. Using modern screening devices, they checked individuals and searched various locations, including hotels and cafes.
