Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan, Abrar Ahmad Mirza, has praised the efforts of all relevant departments, officers, and field teams for ensuring the restoration of connectivity, repair of diversions, and timely delivery of essential goods and petroleum products in Baltistan Division, particularly in Skardu and Rondu areas, despite recent rains and challenging conditions.
The chief secretary commended the Baltistan team for demonstrating once again that with dedication, coordination, and professional commitment, any challenge can be overcome. He specifically praised the Secretary Communications and his team for their exceptional work and unwavering commitment.
The chief secretary appreciated the prompt and coordinated actions taken by the Deputy Commissioner Skardu, Commissioner Baltistan, Rondu administration, police, FWO, and civil administration. He said that these departments have showcased their professional capabilities and commitment to public service.
The government of Gilgit-Baltistan prioritizes the convenience and safety of its citizens, which is why the administration has worked tirelessly to not only open roads but also ensure the supply of essential goods. The chief secretary urged the public to cooperate with the administration and ignore rumors, as the government is taking all possible measures to prevent any difficulties for citizens.
