Karachi Police Encounters: 5 Robbers Arrested, 7 Escape, Weapons, Cash, Phones, Motorcycles Recovered

Karachi, August 19, 2025 Five individuals were arrested in injured condition during various police encounters in Karachi. Seven alleged accomplices managed to escape. Authorities recovered weapons, bullets, cash, mobile phones, and stolen motorcycles from the possession of the arrested suspects. The injured suspects have been shifted to the hospital for medical treatment, and investigations are underway.

In Malir City’s Solar Goth, Sheikh Farhan was arrested following an exchange of fire. His alleged accomplice escaped. A pistol and a stolen motorcycle were recovered.

In Malir district’s Bhees Colony, near Godam Railway Crossing, Ali Gul, son of Dodo, was arrested in an exchange of fire. Authorities recovered a pistol, bullets, cash, and a motorcycle.

In North Karachi Sector 4A/1, near Good Luck Marriage Hall, Abdul Hadi, son of Ayaz Umar, was arrested after a police encounter. His alleged accomplice escaped. A pistol, bullets, cash, and a motorcycle were recovered. (Khawaja Ajmeri Nagri Police Station)

In Surjani Town’s Lyari area, near 51 Tanki, Safdar, son of Ibrahim, was arrested after an encounter. His alleged accomplice escaped. Police recovered a pistol and bullets.

On Korangi Link Road, 35-year-old Liaquat Khan, son of Wakil Rehman, was arrested following an exchange of fire. His alleged accomplices escaped. A pistol, bullets, and two mobile phones were recovered. The accused was shifted to Jinnah Hospital
